Established by the Kirchner Private Capital Group and the Pursell Family, The Food Security Group (FSG) is tackling the growing issues and pursuing the global opportunities of global Food Security.Food Security is defined by the U.N Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) as: “Physical and economic access, at all times, to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet dietary needs.”
FSG is comprised of a number of initiatives focusing on opportunities related to agricultural efficiency and food security solutions.
Our objectives are to:
- Support companies and technologies that contribute to Food Security
- Liaise with thought leaders and organizations involved with Food Security
- Be a conduit for the development of agricultural efficiency solutions
- Work collaboratively with not-for-profit organizations aimed at alleviating poverty in developing nations
- Establish initiatives to address Food Security issues
